Learning the Curve

One day he would come and ask for advice on the direction of his life.  But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.  This individual wasn’t born yet.  His mother was a slave that washed linen for the majesties of the Astorie realm.  She hasn’t met the reason for giving birth of this holy survivor of this dark dire realm.

Astorie was ruled by four rulers.  They divided up the realm into four different kingdoms.  They sought advice from the elder Seers of Five.  Each ruler would climb the steep mountain in the center of the four kingdoms.  It was unknown of the name, but it would later get its name by the savior that would later leave this forgotten realm of dust.

The four rulers were two brothers and two sisters.  One brother oversaw the burial plans of their high rulers of the entire Astorie realm.  He stayed quiet about their sudden deaths.  He buried them together and tossed some seeds of violet blossoms with a dash of a poisonous mineral.  He warned his siblings to stay away from their graves or poison would seep into your skin.

Jules or High Ruler of the Upper Western Kingdom cast the first warning to his other three siblings.  The elder sister was the High Ruler Priestess Julie.  She had suspicions about the mystery deaths of the High Rulers, but she obeyed her oldest brother’s remarks.  She oversaw the Upper Eastern Kingdom.  The two younger siblings were identical twins.  The male was Julien of the Lower Eastern Kingdom, while his sister Priestess Jaime ruled the Lower Western Kingdom.  The time when all four got together was on the day of the funeral of their parents.  When the eldest brother divided up the kingdom, all four lived in their capital city of their kingdoms.

Seers of Five spoke among themselves at the very top of the center point.  Each one tossed four different sizes of bones from a bony skull.  They were predicting which one of the four siblings would visit them first.  Their origin was unknown in the Astorie realm.  They kept to their top of the rigged sharp mountain top.  It was dry around them.  The air would make an individual work for the climb.  This slave would one day make the climb on her own fate, but this wasn’t the time.  Seers of Five mastered in the dark magic.  They had five volumes of different spells.  All five of them tossed their bones in a three ring out of blood circles.  They each circled the three rings and rattled on that the oldest sibling would be aware by a one-eyed crow to seek guidance from them.  It would be on the dead full blood moon.  That spectacular night was three nights away there they wrote in blood for the new High Ruler of the Upper Western Kingdom.

On a chilly night on the second floor of the master bedroom chamber Jules leaned on the balcony.  He could hear a faint voice in the breezy winds.  Then a one-eyed crow landed with a cliff note from the Seers of Five.  They summoned him to make the climb three nights from tonight.  He wondered what those old bags wanted with him.

He twirled his two thumbs and wasn’t pleased with the summons.  In his mind no one should summon a majesty of a sort.  He shrugged his shoulders and closed his twin doors to his balcony.  He went into his walk-in closest and changed into his sleepers which were long white pants and a t-shirt with long sleeves.  He prepared his bed for a long miserable night with running thoughts throughout his mind.

The crow cooed three times as the sunrise shined through the glass balcony window doors.  Jules didn’t sleep a wink during the night.  All he could think about was the Seers of Five summoning him.  He strolled into his walk-in closest and changed clothes.  Then a handmaiden knocked on his bedroom door to start cleaning it.  Jules allowed her to do her job.  He made his way to the dining room.  There he ate his breakfast.  His personal assistant was waiting for his majesty in the coffee room.  There he read out the attire of the day.  Jules made public appearances to keep the commodity of good standards with his people.  He was treating his people to more harsh labor on his own motives.

He would manipulate the citizens with sweet words, but he worked them in the mines.  He wouldn’t say why he needed so much BioHerdic from the Astorie Realm.  His secrets were secretive than his other siblings.  They were no different than their older brother.  Jules never visited the BioHerdic Mines.  He knew how the slave masters were treating his slaves.  They would report daily to his assistant.  Then he would discuss it in the coffee room while drinking a pitcher of coffee.  The only thing Jules learned was to pay your slaves an hourly wage to live off and spend in his capital city.  He followed one rule of his own and it was don’t allow your slaves to buy their freedom.

There were shift masters for the slaves in the mines.  Neither of the slave masters nor the other masters knew the real reason behind the workload for BioHerdic.  They were well paid to push the slaves harder than normal to meet their quota.  Once a month Jules would ride a double load of storage train cars out into the middle of the forest with his royal bodyguards.  He met another powerful person from the Immortalizational Realm.  That person would have his bodyguards load the crates of BioHerdic into their ship.  Then Jules would receive his hefty payment from the unknown person.  It still never met the overall quota from the person of the Immortalizational realm.  That person would make strong threats to Jules.

He demanded that the workload be longer with extra little rest.  His assistant relayed the message to the slave masters and shift masters.  Jules disguised himself with a dab of evil sorcery.  When he looked at his reflection, he could hardly recognize himself.  He nibbled on a light green leaf of a vinery plant.  It transformed his voice.  The journey to the center mountain would take a day and a half travel.  He paid a stable hand for a sturdy horse to travel on for a nonstop trip.  The stable boy handed over one of his best steeds that was a traveling horse.
