Arthen: The Man of the East -- Chapter 12

Aim for the Skies

From the top with the four bells that rang every hour stood Squaz.  His eyes caught a glimpse of blue bonfire with white tips on the flames.  It was a signal for a gesture meeting.  Squaz wanted to know what Jules could want from him.  He gulped a breath and climbed down from the top of the tower.  He dashed his way to the bonfire in the palace grounds.  He noticed the gate was open for his travels.  There were no guards at any suspicious posts.

He stayed on his guard for his own protection.  Then his nose smelled a scent from his childhood.  It was his mother’s perfume from flowers.  Squaz was worried about this situation.  He prayed that he was mistaken.  When he made it to the bonfire.  They’re standing Jules holding someone.  He turned around and the smell led to his mother being in the clutches of the hands of Jules.

“Wait.  Please don’t hurt the woman.  We can negotiate on this incoming.”

“Axios had a wife and a newborn.  You didn’t allow him to walk out from your incoming visit with him.”

Jules manically held a sword at the throat of the mother of Squaz.  He admitted cutting through the spiritual barrier that was hiding her.

While Jules was explaining he duplicated himself.  From behind the bonfire another version of Jules strutted to the front and stood next to his self-holding Sammatha by the shoulders.  Squaz spewed a fog of BioHerdic on the one holding his mother.  It was revealed as a Dog Demon from the Underworld was holding Sammatha.

“This explains a lot now.”

The standing of the Dog Demon gripping on Sammatha was just a mirage.  Jules stopped the charade by wiping the image away.  He ordered Squaz to bring him three heads.  All Jules did was call out their names.

“Julie, Julian and Jaime.  Bring me their heads like you did with the hunter.”

He hurled a dagger at Squaz.  It struck him above his heart.  He pulled it out and saw purple poison on the tip.

“Why?”

“Don’t worry about it.  Now rest.”

Squaz fell backwards from the attack.  Jules opened a travel portal for himself.  Five unidentified people carried Squaz from the site.

He came in and out of consciousness.  His vision was blurry.  He tossed and fought with the mystery hooded cloak people.  They ordered him to stay calm and fight your inner demons.  The five hooded cloak people rolled the body of Squaz on a tablet that reborn the spirit of the east.

A full beam of electricity shot from the tablet into the sky.  Four spirits drove from the heavens into the body of Squaz.  His body lighted up with his tattoos connecting his three spheres into one.  His body levitated from the center of the tablet.  On his back was a pure sheer shard of electricity shocking the body into a jolt.  The five hooded people removed their hoods.  The Seers of Five waited for the animated spell to succeed.

The animated spell summoned four spirits from the Underworld.  Squaz now has five souls within himself.  He would learn this act whenever he wakes up and gains control of his physical body.  The four spirits would gain one by one his three spheres.  Some were dead for a long time and lost how to control body functions.

Each Seers of Five stood in front of a limb.  One was in front of his head while two were in front of his arms and the other two were in front of his legs.  They each held their personal lantern of light.  The Lantern of Light attempted to spark a flame slowly, it ignited and Squaz rolled over from the experience.

“What happened?”
